Leadership and Innovation Take Flight

Dan Satterlund joins the team as Chief Operating Officer, launches the Boston office, and spearheads the creation of an in-house scheduling department.

Jets.com introduces the All-Access Jet Card, an industry-first innovation that redefines flexibility and pricing transparency.

Captain Bob Archibald, with over 40 years of experience, joins as Chief Safety Officer to expand Jets.com’s in-house safety operations.

A Milestone Moment

Jets.com opens its third office in Boca Raton, Florida, surpasses 1,000 Jet Card clients, and launches its dedicated Cargo Department in Long Island, New York.

2020

Jets.com earns Wyvern Certified Broker status, acquires Part 135 operator Private Jet Center (PJC).

2021

Strengthening a Global Presence

Jets.com launches new hubs in Brazil, London, and California, earns the prestigious ARGUS Certified Broker status, and adds 10 aircraft to its fleet through PJC.

Edgar Alacan

A leader in private aviation for nearly twenty years, Edgar Alacan co-founded Jets.com in 2008 and has been a co-owner of Private Jet Center (PJC) since 2021. Known for his hands-on approach and commitment to client satisfaction, Edgar has played an integral role in building one of the most trusted names in the industry. His mission has always been to make every guest feel like family and every flight as memorable as his first private charter.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Edgar is fluent in Spanish and Italian and understands the importance of communication and connection. His energy and vision have been essential to shaping the culture and growth of Jets.com and Private Jet Center (PJC) with a keen focus on delivering high-touch service, maintaining rigorous safety standards, and building long-term relationships with clients and operators alike.

Edgar balances his time between the firm's NYC Headquarters and South Florida offices. He leads with enthusiasm and a strong sense of accountability, cultivating a company where people genuinely care about the work they do.

Manni Scarso

Manni Scarso is a co-founder of Jets.com and an owner of Private Jet Center (PJC), with nearly 20 years in private aviation. Since 2008, he’s helped lead Jets.com towards being one of the most respected names in the industry to deliver a seamless, personal experience.

Based in the company's NYC headquarters, Manni focuses on the collaboration between Jets.com and PJC to deliver a unified and efficient approach for clients. He believes private aviation is not simply a means of transportation— it should be effortless, dependable, and personalized.

Manni brings the same dedication to his life on the ground. He’s a proud father and co-founder of Pietro’s Fight, a nonprofit committed to funding research and raising awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. His ability to balance business with a sense of purpose allows him to build trust with clients, taking the time to understand their needs and offer consistency and care.

Damian Klinger

With nearly two decades of experience in private aviation and ownership, Damian Klinger is a hands-on leader and innovator. A co-founder of Jets.com and has been a co-owner of Private Jet Center (PJC) since 2021, he has been instrumental in shaping Jets.com’s reputation for reliability, and top-tier service since 2008.

Damian led the development and launch of Jets.com’s All Access Jet Card, an industry-first program offering clients fixed hourly rates, guaranteed availability, and flexible access across all cabin classes. His vision incorporated his core philosophy: private aviation should be straightforward, flexible, and consistent. His expertise in aviation regulations, safety standards, and negotiation ensures that clients get the best flight experience, value, and peace of mind.

In addition to ensuring that every flight is executed flawlessly for clients, Damian plays an integral role in Jets.com’s internal culture. He believes in team development, open communication, and collaboration, cultivating a company ethos where people feel supported and understand that each client should receive an exceptional, high-touch experience when they fly. Damian is based at Jets.com's NYC headquarters.
